Privacy Policy

Effective 19 May 2026. This policy explains how RevSecure collects and uses your data.

Who we are

RevSecure provides a trades operations platform for UK businesses, helping you manage jobs, customers, leads, payments, and follow-up from one workspace.

What data we collect

Depending on how you use RevSecure, we may collect and process:

  • Account details — your email address, hashed password, and account creation date.
  • Workspace and business details — business name, address, phone, logo, and operating preferences you configure.
  • Customer and contact data — names, addresses, phone numbers, and notes you enter for your own customers and sites.
  • Job and invoice data — job titles, descriptions, scheduled dates, quoted amounts, completion notes, payment tracking state, and invoice drafts.
  • Photos, files, and logos — images you upload to jobs or sites, and your business logo if you upload one.
  • Billing data — subscription status, plan history, and trial dates. Payment card details are handled by Stripe. RevSecure does not store full card numbers.
  • AI Receptionist data — if the optional AI Receptionist add-on is configured, call transcripts and captured enquiries may be stored so you can review and follow up on them. This does not apply to core accounts.
  • Usage and security data — page visits, feature usage, sign-in activity, and session events used to keep the service secure and working correctly.
  • Offline and device storage — some information may be temporarily stored on your device to support offline capture and PWA app functionality. This data is synced to our servers when connectivity resumes.

Why we use it and our legal basis

  • Providing the service — processing your jobs, customers, calendar, payments, and follow-ups requires storing and displaying the data you enter. Basis: contract performance.
  • Account management — verifying your identity, managing access, and providing account security. Basis: contract performance and legitimate interests.
  • Billing and subscription — managing your subscription, trial status, and payment records. Basis: contract performance.
  • Support — responding to your queries and resolving issues. Basis: legitimate interests.
  • Security and fraud prevention — detecting and preventing misuse of the platform. Basis: legitimate interests.
  • AI Receptionist call handling (optional add-on only) — capturing and structuring inbound enquiries. Basis: contract performance.

Who we share data with

We use trusted service providers to operate the platform. They process data only as necessary to provide their specific service:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Vercel — application hosting and edge delivery.
  • Stripe — subscription and billing management. Card details are handled directly by Stripe and not stored by RevSecure.
  • OpenAI — AI features including daily briefings and, where the add-on is configured, AI Receptionist call handling.
  • Email provider — account confirmation and transactional emails.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers.

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where this occurs, appropriate safeguards are in place.

How long we keep data

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as required to provide the service. When you close your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data in accordance with our retention procedures, except where we are required to keep certain records for legal, billing, or security reasons.

You can request deletion by contacting support. See the Support page for how to do this.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations).
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has been handled unlawfully.
